Kelly's Wedding Shower

My husband's cousin was getting married, and I made these as a gift for the new bride's shower.
I have always wanted to do wedding dress cookies after seeing so many beautiful ones!
These were inspired from some fabulous designs from Artisian Cakes!!!
I also just loved the bra 'n panty cookies made by Suga' !!!
(thank you both for letting me use the designs!)
Finally, the leaf movif was from the invitations.

Little League Team snacks

Little League team snacks from the coaches!
Obviously, the team this year was the Minnesota Twins.

If you're curious, I iced the rounds in solid royal icing. I piped the "M" logo on waxpaper over printouts. Once dry, I poped them off and 'glued' them to the cookie with more royal icing.

Summer Move-in Cookies

Again, these are similar to other move-in cookies. I had some fun with some bright colors and new flower designs!

Fire Truck cupackes

Birthday cupcakes for a little boy who love fire trucks.
The flames are the same design as some fireman cupcakes that I made for my nephew.

These were my favorite for the weekend of a thousand cupcakes!
(OK, not really a thousand cupcakes, but a lot)

but please don't turn me into Cake Wrecks!
warning, if you haven't been there before, you won't look at cakes the same again!

Damask bridal shower

Chocolate cupcakes for a bridal shower. Black and white damask and apple-green bows were the theme.

I used my stencils for the damask cupcakes. The client and I agreed to go bigger on the fondant topper for these because of the large size of the pattern. I love the way that they turned out. Stencils are amazing!

As a design element, we decided to go with chocolate ganache on the other cupcakes. I think that it offsets the green bows beautifully - and tastes great with the chocolate cupcakes!

I had hoped to add some sugar crystals too, but the humidity made them soft and they lost their faceted shape.

"Look whooooos expecting"

This was for a baby shower, done to match the super cute invitations on etsy:
6" lemon cake with raspberry, and 4" chocolate cake with mix berry.

this one was a 'hoot'!
